La creación de oportunidades de ayuda visual y contextual resulta muy efectiva para la enseñanza de ortografía y vocabulario a jóvenes alumnos. Ejercicios auditivos que incorporan material visual como fotografías y dibujos les ayudará también a manejar mejor la pronunciación. Los jóvenes alumnos aprenden mejor cuando las instrucciones y las tareas que se les asignan incorporan tanto el inglés como el primer idioma del alumno(a).
